I am an Assistant lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication
Sciences, University of Bucharest, and a PhD student at the Faculty of Sociology,
as you can see in my CV: I have diplomas both in Journalism and
in Political Sciences. I have simultaneously studied journalism,
public relations and political sciences.

Is that truly useful for me, one might ask, as long as I am not doing either
politics or business? I graduated two faculties and two masters of art
out of pleasure and professional interest. The combined specializations of
communication and political sciences recommend me as a professional
in political communication.

I am teaching out of passion, but I am a radio presenter because I find it amusing.

At the Department of Cultural Anthropology and Communication I am teaching
a course of Political Marketing. This is the reason why I was selected in 2004
for a scholarship at an in-depth course of electoral campaigns,
held in Amsterdam.

As an assistant lecturer, I am leading the seminars for
the course of Introduction in Politology (held by PhD University Professor
Cristian Pirvulescu) and for the course of Social Structures of Communication
(held by PhD University Professor Zoltan Rostas).

I have worked for several radio stations in the past 9 years and I teach Introduction in
Radio Techniques, as well as Genders of Radio Journalism at the Department of
Press from the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences, University of Bucharest.

I have colaborated with important press corporations, for which I presented
radio and TV broadcasts:
Realitatea TV
Centrul National Media – National FM
Societatea Româna de Radio
I am currently working at InfoPro radio station, belonging
to MediaPro trust,
where I am presenting the morning show each weekend.

Lately I have been writing articles in the cultural magazine Dilema veche.
I organize and present the SERILE FJSC event at the Faculty of Journalism and
Communication Sciences (in short FJSC, hence the name of the event).
My goal with this event is that, together with the journalism and communication students,
we will develop a market of ideas out of which mass-media, lobby groups,
opinion leaders and even politicians will be able to undertake controversial subjects
and include them on their agenda.

I wrote a book of social history that has recently been published. Its title is
Petty Activists (interviews of life story with communist nostalgics, propagandists, securists).

I also write paperworks for a PhD with the theme
A political history of the Sociologic School of Bucharest
established by Dimitrie Gusti.

I wish to create a space for debating ideas on this site
and not just for quarrelling with words.
But that depends on you. Feel free to comment and express yourselves
on the blog, where there are no other limits except for the censorship of intelligence:
it’s just your Internet and my blog!
